EM doesn't handle select errors in windows

Reported by: rogerdpack Assigned to:

Sometimes, on windows, select will return immediately with file descriptors set within the error fd_set. This isn't handled currently, so EM spins on select, taking up 100% cpu [but still working, if you can call that working].

I take that back. It appears that windows incorrectly ignores pending sockets that fail and are shown in the error fd_set. So smaller problem than mentioned.

Select can still return immediately with failure, however. In certain instances some active sockets become invalid [somehow], which causes select to always return immediately with an error message. I've usually fixed this in the past by looping over all sockets and checking if any of them are invalid, and deleting/removing them if they area. I'd be happy to submit a patch.
